Esmero Red 2016

Esmero Red 2016 is a wine made from a blend of varieties with a predominance of Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, but also Tinta Amarela, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Fêmea, Touriga Nacional, coming from a very old vineyard. The harvest was carried out in mid-September with manual harvesting in 20 kg boxes, sorting on a choice mat, crushing with foot treading, maceration/fermentation in a mill for 7 days.

It has a floral aroma, red fruits and chocolate, complex but with a strong personality. In the mouth it presents a well-integrated wood, with robust tannins already relatively polished, but still vigorous and with a very persistent finish.
