Proibido Grande Reserva Red 2020

The Proibido Grande Reserva Red 2020 originates from Old Vineyards between 40 and 80 years old, from Vila Nova de Foz Côa. Small plots facing north or east between 250m and 500m altitude. All work is practically done by hand, without the use of herbicides or pesticides. When necessary, we plow the land with the help of a workhorse. We respect what the vineyard gives us, and we try to make the transformation of grapes into wine as natural as possible.

This wine presents a well marked black fruit on the nose with great intensity, toasted notes and spices. Balanced wine in the mouth, full-bodied, with well-polished tannins and a persistent finish.

It can be consumed immediately or over the next 15 years, as long as it is stored lying down in a cool, dry place, away from light and without temperature fluctuations.
