Textura da Estrela Jaen 2019

The Texture of Estrela Jaen 2019 comes from a single plot in Vila Nova de Tazem (Serra da Estrela sub-region). Vineyards 28 years old on granitic soils, sustainably treated, without herbicides, have been converting to organic certification since 2020.

Open colored red with mineral and earthy character, light pepper, delicate fruit. It shows elegant tannins and is marked in the mouth by granitic minerality, which often contributes to its pepperier side. Long and precise acidity.

It already gives a good test but has the potential to improve with a few more years.

Naturally stabilized, it may present turbidity or deposit.
