Almeida Garrett
The Almeida Garretts emigrated to France and when they return to Portugal, they plant the first sticks of the Chardonnay variety. This being an emblematic variety. Since then, it has invested in the diversity of its agricultural products, however wines have been the focus and the largest percentage of the family’s dedication.
Almeida Garrett Wines is currently one of the most emblematic references in Beira Interior, being the oldest producer in the region with a plantation area of around 44ha and already having the work of the 4th and 5th generation.
