Garganta Funda is the result of a traditional Douro winemaking. The grapes are trodden by foot in order to obtain a more elegant and less extracted wine. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in a press in constant contact with the skins and part of the stalk.
This wine was vinified in a minimalist and natural way, containing only grapes, a minimum of sulphites in order to guarantee the quality and stability of the wine and work. With the aim of providing a wine without filters, a direct connection of the oenophile to the earth.
Red wine full of flavor, with an impressive freshness given by the high acidity, some vegetable and low alcohol and with a long aftertaste. Ideal red for hot days.
